PELEBARAN JALAN DI BATAM BUKAN SOLUSI KEMACETAN YANG ADA

Bagi para warga kota Batam, pastinya kita sudah sering melihat berbagai aktivitas pekerjaan pelebaran jalan di kota ini. Saat ini hampir di setiap sudut kota Batam kita lihat adanya pelebaran jalan, baik itu di pusat kota maupun di pinggiran kota Batam. Pelebaran jalan yang ada di Batam tentunya merupakan tanda positif terhadap perkembangan kota Batam. Hal ini juga menandakan adanya surplus dari pembangunan daerah dari tahun ke tahun.

Namun apakah kalian menyadari bahwa pelebaran jalan yang ada di Batam sebenarnya bukan solusi dari masalah kemacetan yang terjadi di kota ini. Secara kasat mata, pembangunan pelebaran jalan pasti membawa dampak yang positif. Hanya saja di sisi lain kegiatan ini dapat menimbulkan masalah baru bagi kota yang terletak di sebuah pulau di Kepulauan Riau ini. Jika kalian lihat dari arah simpang jam menuju Ocarina, kita pasti sudah tahu bahwa ada pelebaran jalan gila-gilaan di kawasan ini.

Tapi kita perlu mewaspadai fenomena yang akan timbul dari super lebarnya jalan di Batam. Masyarakat pasti akan lebih berbondong-bondong membeli kendaraan roda 4. Bisa jadi di sebuah rumah yang dihuni oleh 4-5 orang, setiap orang akan memiliki mobilnya masing-masing. Masyarakat lambat laun akan berkembang dan pertambahan jumlah penduduk akan semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Belum lagi pendatang dari provinsi atau kota lain yang akan mencoba peruntungan nasibnya di Batam, akan menambah sesak jumlah masyarakat Batam. Belum lagi setiap orang yang menghuni Batam, secara perlahan akan memiliki kendaraannya masing-masing. Jadi kalian bisa bayangkan, bukan tidak mungkin kota kecil ini akan collaps oleh kemacetan dan polusi di sana sini. Jalan-jalan yang saat ini dibangun dengan lebar, suatu hari akan menjadi jalan yang dipenuhi kendaraan pribadi di setiap sisinya.

Kemacetan ibarat seperti orang yang mengalami obesitas. Biasanya seseorang yang obesitas akan terus mencari ukuran baju yang semakin besar dan besar setiap harinya secara perlahan. Kegiatan pelebaran jalan di berbagai sisi yang gila-gilaan ini dapat menimbulkan dampak kemacetan di masa yang akan datang jika kita tidak memberi solusi alternatif untuk menunjang transportasi warga Batam sendiri. Meskipun saat ini sudah ada beberapa bus angkutan publik di Batam, namun animo masyarakat untuk menggunakan bus ini sangat minim. Perlu adanya peran pemerintah yang lebih kreatif dalam menyediakan sistem transportasi publik yang tepat waktu, aman, nyaman dan dipercaya oleh masyarakat ramai. Tentu saja dengan biaya yang sekecil mungkin dibandingkan dengan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi.

Jika saja pemerintah kota Batam dapat mewujudkan hal ini, pastinya Batam akan menjadi sebuah kota yang sangat liveable bagi warganya. Apalagi jika ditunjang dengan fasilitas air bersih dan listrik yang memadai, bukan tidak mungkin Batam dapat menyaingi Singapura dalam berbagai segi.

MY IMAGINARY FRIEND

Hi everyone!!!
Welcome to my personal blog.

I'm sure you ever heard about an imaginary friend.
After 27 years of my life, I think I ever have one, precisely two persons.

This story started when I was 4-5 years old.
I believe this 2 people only imagination of mine. Because I never see them again.
And my mom never knows this family also.
At that time I was in my kindergarten school.
All of my friends were not in the same class as me.
My neighbour's kids were in higher class and lower class than me at that time.
So it's mean I don't have any friends in that school.

I tried to make friends at that time in my school.
I tried to make friends with Indri and Widya at that time.
This two peoples used to take my snacks and left one small candy for me every tea time coming.
Every time I denied that action from them, they'll insist me to give most of my snacks to them.
They were threatening me also.
One day, Indri bring her sister to school and they tried to beat me.
I was running so fast to home and scare.
It happens every time.

Their behavior scaring me. Sometimes I'm scared to go to school.
Until one day I saw a boy with his mother.
He is a very shy boy.
One time while I was playing at the park, his mother and he come to me.
She asked me to bring him play with me.

Since that time, I feel I have a friend in the school.
He talking less. His mother used to talk to me.
Oh ya, his name Alam.
He is very white with brown color hair.
His mother is also very white with black color hair.

His mother telling me that Alam's father worked in somewhere far.
I forgot about his father's job.
She said Alam also don't have sister or brother like me.
She said Alam has rabbits and cats at his home.

One day, she invited me to her home.
Alam's mother told to me getting a permit from my mom to go to Alam's home.
After school, I inform mom.
But mom didn't give me permission to go.
She said she doesn't know this Alam's family.

So I can't go to Alam's home.
Every time this Alam's mom invited me, I always said "Later I will come"

One day, in the afternoon time, my mom brings me to buy banana fry in the nearby village beside an army camp.
We cross a small road in between the farm.
In one home, I saw Alam's mother brushing Alam's hair.
In front of them have some rabbits.

After reaching the banana fry shop, I asked mom, "do you see Alam and his mom before in that home?"
Mom told she didn't see it.

The next day I meet Alam and his mother again.
We used to play on a small hill beside my classroom.
At that time another child will play in the park.

Now only I realize that :

1. Alam and his mother never play with any other child.
2. I never see Alam in the classroom or another classroom or at the row when the morning flag ceremony has.
3. I never see Alam and his mother when I was playing with another kids.
4. I never see Alam and his mother after I like to go to my father office in break time. (FYI: My father office precisely beside my school)
5. My mom never knows Alam's mother and Alam. Usually, she used to know who is the parents of my friends because we are staying in an army camp.
6. If I remember this Alam is more looks like a non-Indonesian boy because his skin is very white. His hair also brown color. His mom used to give me a sandwich bread. But I always denied because mom always told me 'don't ever eat or drink the food from a stranger'. I still consider these two people as strangers for me.

LEAN SIX SIGMA, TEKNIK PERUSAHAAN UNTUK LEBIH MAJU

Bagi kalian yang saat ini tergabung ke dalam sistem quality suatu perusahaan baik itu sebagai Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspector dan masih banyak lagi yang lainnya, tentu tidak asing dengan istilah LEAN SIX SIGMA ini. Sebuah proses SIX SIGMA memiliki tingkat ketepatan 99,99966% atau jika terjadi kesalahan dalam suatu produk, produk yang salah jumlahnya 3.4 buah dari satu juta. Atau lebih tepatnya kesalahan yang di tolerir hanya 1 dari 294.000 jumlah produk yang di fabrikasi.

Adapun LEAN SIX SIGMA sebenarnya adalah gabungan dari LEAN (melakukan hal yang benar) dan SIX SIGMA (melakukan suatu hal dengan benar). Adapun tujuan dari LEAN itu sendiri adalah mengurangi limbah dengan cara meningkatkan kecepatan produksi dan mereduksi atau mengurangi biaya produksi. Sedangkan tujuan dari SIX SIGMA adalah mengurangi variasi atau lebih tepatnya mengurangi kesalahan produksi. Hal ini didasarkan pada proses produksi manufaktur, variasi adalah hal yang sangat dihindari. Adapun untuk mencapai tujuan SIX SIGMA itu sendiri biasanya akan lebih konsisten kepada kualitasnya, meningkatkan akurasi dan akan mencoba sekuat mungkin untuk tetap berada dalam rencana jadwal sebelumnya.

Pada SIX SIGMA, umumnya prosedur yang harus diikuti dikenal dengan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)

Define : Definisikan masalah yang ada

Measure : Petakan proses yang ada saat ini

Analyze : Identifikasi penyebab dari masalah

Improve : Implementasikan dan verifikasi dari solusi

Control : pertahankan solusi

Sedangkan pada LEAN, prinsip yang harus dipegang adalah :

1. Define Value : definisikan value atau fungsi dari suatu program
2. Map Value Stream : petakan fungsi tersebut
3. Create Flow : buat alur dari program/produksi
4. Establish Pull : bangun titik tolak
5. Pursuit Perfection : coba capai kesempurnaan

Nah, inilah sedikit keterangan tentang LEAN SIX SIGMA.

QUESTIONS IN MY HEAD

Today I see the video from Dr. Zakir Naik regarding why God created us as a human. One of the guy asking this kind of questions to him.
I also have a question, maybe somebody can help me to answer that.

1. God created all of human as a new person. Before we was born, we have an agreement with God, will we become a human or not. The thing is, if we can choose we can become human or not, why we can't choose we will become good human or a bad human? Who decide us to be good man or bad man? If we can choose also, why we can't choose about our path?

2. Dr. Zakir Naik told that human have instinc. How about the animal? Will they going to heaven or hell? And how about some animal which some religion doesn't like it? Like in moeslem there's snake. What will this kind of animal spirit feel after they die?

3. Einstein told that there's an energy can't vanish and can't create. But it can convert to another form. How about our spirit? Do you ever think how much spirit in this world? Where they go? Sometimes the story regarding end of life not make any sense to me. I'm confusing if re-think about that.

THINKING LIBERAL 1

I don't know I am a liberal person or not. One thing I know is everybody in this world is same.
We are human and we are same. We can not say that human is better than animal, human is better than plants or any other selfish things we tell.
I admit that human have logically thinking with their brain. Maybe some animal don't have that keen thinking ways. But it doesn't meant that human is the best.
If we see in the newspaper or TV, so many human kill their child, their parents, their husband/wife, or everybody they should love. Even animals not doing that kind of things.

So, as I said. Human is human only.
From today maybe I'll tell you about whatever I think in my life.
For all of my opinion, I hope you won't be angry even we have different way of thinking.
As I said. We are same.

So please stop divide us by race, religion, country, colour and everything which is the simple things in life.
Black people can be white people.
Everyday have people changes their religion.
And race is depend on where you birth or who's your parents.
But we are all humans.

So we need show the world that we are better than others.
We tell the world that we have a big heart for loving each other.
We tell the world that differences doesn't matter.
Because differences made us become more colorful.
So the world won't be a boring places with monoton template everywhere.
In my thinking, that is the function of difference in the world.

THANKS TO THIS HERO

Hi everybody!!!

In this blog, again I'll share a little story of mine.
Hmm... This is not literally mine, this is story of a hero for me.

Last week, Friday (30 March 2019), a guy recommended becoma a lieutenant in his army camp.
He is my first love, even I never say I love him verbally.
I share this story to telling you that this guy is very super man in my life.

He is silent guy. Very silent. Even talk to me he will talk so formal.
Sometimes I feel funny while he is talking because of the formal words he said.
His anger is silence also. We won't know when he is angry, except we understand him.
When he was angry to people, he can throw the extreme killing words or be silence and ignore that people.

He is the most wise person in the world.
When I was young, I mean when I was children, he never say no for what I want.
Even he didn't have money, he will give the last penny he had for buy me the things I want.

And the wonderful things come together because this guy married a very clever woman I ever see.
Even she never graduated from her Senior High School because of her family economy problem at that time, she is the greatest manager I ever seen.

You can imagine how wonderful she manage everything to bring me and my sister become a best part of us. This man and this woman has a good based of see the world.
Since we were children, she always told to us that knowledge can save us.
They will do the best thing from them to made me and Yeyen got the good education in our life.

At that time mom always teach me to be brave if I'm not wrong. She always teach me to be strong enough because I am the first child of them and we don't have any boy siblings. So I have to be able protect myself and Yeyen soon, that is her wish for me.

For Yeyen, she is the last child (FYI: we, two people only). Hahaha... Since she was child, she is so special. She is our little girl till the end. But I want she become a guard for herself also. Because we never know our age. We don't know we can protect her until when. So she have to be can protect herself.

Ok, come back to my father,
He becoming lieutenant not because of his army school. He got that because of his loyalty to this country. I can say that because in army, we can got a high position by going to extra school for some level. At that time he didn't want to go because of when he go, there's a chance he will moving to another district. And it's might be worst district in the country (worst mean, in some area there's no have a good school for children and maybe no have a good public facility for family). At that time also we didn't have much money for that extra school.

People said "the effort is always true" is the right things. He will get what he used to be get.
So proud of him... Not because of that level, but because of that love he show us. Not by words, but by his actions.

And in this life, I found a guy with that character also. At age  24 years old, I found a guy who loving me not by words only. I found a similarity between them (father and this guy). The difference is the way he coming from only. But for me every human is same. Mom teach me that one since I was little girl. Every human is same, no difference. Difference come from their character, good or bad.

So I never make peoples in a box, separate them based on religion, bully them because of the colour, or friend or unfriend them because of the things they can't controlled in their life. People can't choose their parents, the place their born, the family they have,,, but they can choose become good or bad in their life. So please for all people who always separate peoples, maybe you can be human in your life because you only life once.

PENTINGNYA TRACING PRODUK DALAM SISTEM MANAJEMEN KUALITAS

Selamat pagi semua pembaca blog saya. Mungkin dari 1 juta orang hanya 1 atau 2 orang yang sudi meng-klik tautan blog yang saya share di Facebook. Tapi tak mengapa. Kalian boleh memilih bacaan mana yang kalian suka dan bacaan mana yang kalian perlu pertimbangkan.
Mungkin dalam 5 menit di hidup kalian akan dihabiskan dengan membaca artikel terkait berita artis terkini, atau 5 menit kalian habiskan untuk scrolling instagram dan mengetahui update status setiap orang yang kalian follow, atau mungkin 5 menit kalian habiskan untuk membaca artikel ini.

Pada bahasan kali ini saya akan membahas tentang pentingnya tracing produk dalam sistem manajemen kualitas.
Khususnya di perusahaan yang menekankan manajemen ISO, tracing produk ini sangat penting dan merupakan sebuah kewajiban yang harus diterapkan. Seperti contoh sebuah pabrik handphone akan memiliki data yang akurat jika ditanya kepada mereka produk mana saja yang mengalami cacat produksi maupun reject. Adapun manfaat dari tracing produk dalam sistem manajemen mutu adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Meminimalisir waktu pencarian produk
Mudahnya sistem tracing produk akan mengurangi waktu pencarian sebuah produk. Pemberian label nama yang dilengkapi dengan type, material, tanggal produksi, tanggal stocking akan memudahkan kita dalam menemukan produk secara cepat dan tepat.

2. Meminimalisir usaha pencarian produk
Jika waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencari sebuah produk menurun, secara otomatis usaha yang diperlukan juga semakin kecil.

3. Bahan analisis produk
Tracing produk dapat memberikan gambaran singkat kepada produsen dalam memahami populasi produk yang mungkin mengalami cacat yang sama. Tentu saja hal ini ditunjang dengan data-data produksi yang akurat.

4. Meningkatkan kualitas dari kegiatan re-work/repair
Dengan mudahnya sistem tracing akan mengurangi resiko hilangnya produk. Selain itu mudahnya sistem tracing dalam sebuah siklus produksi akan meningkatkan kualitas dari kegiatan re-work/repair karena produk yang mengalami cacat produksi yang sama dapat dikelompokkan sehingga memudahkan proses re-work/repair.

5. Acuan performa kerja
Performa kerja dalam sebuah produksi ditentukan dengan kepuasan pelanggan yang ditunjang oleh kehandalan dalam pengecekan setiap produk. Banyaknya produk yang cacat produksi maupun reject akan menggambarkan prosentase keberhasilan sistem manajemen mutu dari perusahaan dan performa kerja dari produsen.

6. Data dalam kegiatan Research dan Development perusahaan
Pada perusahaan multi-nasional, kegiatan Research dan Development adalah hal yang sangat fundamental untuk menentukan keberlanjutan perusahaan. Semua data terkait kualitas dan sistem tracing akan menjadi bahan acuan dalam penelitian yang lebih komprehensif.

KORELASI ANTARA MIXING TIME DENGAN WORKABILITY CONCRETE

Oke postingan kali ini akan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia karena salah satu tujuan dari blog saya adalah untuk mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Jadi sharing kali ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sedikit pemahaman kepada teman-teman sesama Civil Engineer yang bisa berbahasa Indonesia.

Jadi bagi engineer yang saat ini bergelut dengan yang namanya beton atau kalau dalam bahasa Inggris-nya disebut concrete, durasi waktu adukan akan memengaruhi workability beton tersebut.
Menurut standar rata-rata waktu adukan beton dengan menggunakan mesin batch adalah 120 second. Namun waktu ini akan berbeda tergantung dengan kecepatan rotasi mixer dan besaran wadah mixernya.

Permasalahannya, terkadang waktu pengadukan yang cukup panjang akan memengaruhi produktifitas pekerjaan. Seperti contoh pada sebuah perusahaan precast, waktu pengadukan yang lama akan mengurangi jumlah unit yang dapat di produksi dalam setiap harinya.

Secara umum, waktu pengadukan akan memengaruhi beton dalam hal :

1. Workability
Workability sangat dipengaruhi oleh jumlah air yang ada dalam campuran design mix. Semakin banyak air, maka beton akan semakin mudah dibentuk. Apabila jumlah air sudah over maka beton juga akan sulit dibentuk. Namun jika waktu pengadukan dikurangi, hal ini berarti waktu yang dibutuhkan air untuk meresap ke dalam material lainnya akan berkurang. Hal ini akan menyebabkan over hidrasi pada beton karena air akan semakin berkurang selama proses settlement beton. Terlebih lagi jika beton memiliki nilai C3A yang tinggi, maka hidrasi yang terjadi akan semakin tinggi.

2. Kekuatan (Kuat Tekan)
Jika nilai C3A pada beton semakin tinggi maka beton akan semakin kuat. Hanya saja hidrasi-nya semakin besar. Hal ini mengakibatkan kemungkinan terjadinya crack di dalam beton karena tingginya nilai hidrasi. Angka C3A yang tinggi juga akan menyebabkan semen mengabsorpsi air semakin banyak sehingga air yang tersisa hanya untuk membantu workability dari beton tersebut.

Oleh karena itu dalam design mix hendaknya setiap hal diperhatikan mulai dari kandungan semen, metode mixing, hingga komponen-komponen lainnya yang mampu memengaruhi karakteristik beton yang kita miliki.
